There has been huge growth in both cloud and SaaS, and with this has come the emergence of new business models and ways of selling. Today we are going to look at these new go to market strategies, and find out what the future of technology sales looks like.

Hey everybody welcome back. Today I have with me Joe Ferguson, who has made an appearance here before demonstrating Clumio. With the Coronavirus outbreak, SaaS has become incredibly important. I thought it would be great to catch up with Joe and get an update on what is going on with Clumio, a born in the cloud pure play SaaS data protection product, to talk about the importance of SaaS while companies rapidly transform their to adapt to the new environment we find ourselves in.

My last stop in SanFrancisco was for VMWorld 2019, and let me tell you it was quite a show. Last year my perspective was that it was a show in decline, and that VMWare was trying to stay relevant in a world that is increasingly being dominated by Cloud.
Clearly VMWare’s CEO Pat Gelsinger was on top of it, because they made some impressive and bold moves over the last year or so.
