This is the camera I use to shoot most of the podcasts. I have to say, this is one of the best cameras I have ever owned. Easy to use, has dedicated presets for both video and still shooting. It can shoot over 30 Minutes of continuous video, has 2 card slots and can shoot RAW 6K at 60 FPS.
Prior to the R6 Mark II, this was the camera I used to shoot the podcast. I really love this camera, but it shoots cropped 4K and doesn’t have continuous recording ability. Instead it is light, easy to use and has proved to be durable at a great price point. This one has become my backup camera, and is still in regular use.
This is the primary lens I use for shooting the podcast. I don’t have a big studio, so 35mm is a great focal length for me. This lens is not an L series lens, so it is cheap, fast and has image stabilization built in. Because it is a macro lens, it doesn’t have the kind of barrel distortion you might expect from a 35mm lens.
